Training Terms, Duration, & Stipend : Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026
- Duration: 12 Months (1 Year).
- Stipend: Fixed stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month. No other allowances or benefits are applicable.
- Leaves & Work Conditions: Entitled to local bank holidays and 1 casual leave per month. No other type of leave or overtime work is allowed. Working hours match the bank’s clerical staff.
- Employment Status: Apprentices are strictly Trainees, not considered regular employees or workers of the Bank. There is no right to claim regular employment or absorption in the Bank during or after training.
Age Limit : Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026
- Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years. Candidates must have been born between 31.05.1998 and 31.05.2006 (both days inclusive). Max age is specified for unreserved and EWS candidates.
Age Relaxation Guidelines
- SC/ST : By 05 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : By 03 years
- PwBD : PwBD (UR/EWS) – 10 Years; PwBD (OBC) – 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 years.
- Widows, divorced women, and women legally separated from husbands (not remarried) : Up to 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST.
Qualification : Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University. Crucial condition: Candidates must have completed graduation on or after 01.01.2022 onwards.
- Prior Experience Restriction: Candidates who have undergone apprenticeship earlier or possess job experience/training for one year or more after obtaining their graduation degree are NOT eligible. No Ex-servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen will be engaged.

Selection Process : Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026
Online Examination (Objective Type): Total 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes duration. There is no negative marking.
- General/Financial Awareness: 20 questions / 20 marks (English/Hindi)
- Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude: 20 questions / 20 marks (English/Hindi)
- Computer Knowledge: 20 questions / 20 marks (English/Hindi)

Test of Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in the official local language of the applied state. If a candidate has studied the language in the 10th or 12th standard and can produce the marksheet, they are exempt from this test. Otherwise, they must clear the local language test at their own expense.
