RRB ALP Recruitment 2026: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the job notification regarding filling of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Job Vacancies. The Government organization invites Online application from eligible candidates have required qualifications. These 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Posts are Kerala. The eligible candidates can apply for the post through Online from 15.05.2026 to 14.06.2026.
Salary Details : RRB ALP Recruitment 2026
- Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) : Level-2 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs.19,900/- Per Month)
- Other allowances and benefits as applicable to Railway employees under 7th CPC will be as per detailed CEN No. 01/2026.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026) : RRB ALP Recruitment 2026
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD and other eligible categories will be as per Railway rules mentioned in the detailed CEN No. 01/2026.

1. Option A – Matriculation + ITI
Job Application 2026
- Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Mechanic. OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the above trades.
2. Option B – Matriculation + Diploma/Degree in Engineering
- Matriculation / SSLC plus 3-year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (or combination of these streams) from a recognised institution in lieu of ITI. Note: Degree in the above Engineering disciplines will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma.
