The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSL) 2026 to recruit eligible candidates for 2,536 vacancies.

Educational Qualification
LDC / JSA / DEO: Must have passed Plus Two (12th Standard) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
DEO / DEO Grade ‘A’ (in specific departments – Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution; SSC; Ministry of Culture): Must have passed the Science stream at the Plus Two level with Mathematics as a subject.
Application Fee
Fee: ₹100/-; Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen (ESM): No fee (full exemption).
Examination Centers in Kerala: Ernakulam (9213), Kollam (9210), Kottayam (9205), Kozhikode (9206), Thrissur (9212), Thiruvananthapuram (9211), Kannur (9202), Malappuram (9207).
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted via SSC’s new official portal (https://ssc.gov.in) or the ‘my SSC’ mobile app. Those who have not registered previously must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the website.
There is no need to upload a photo with the application; instead, a live photo must be captured using the mobile app or a webcam. The signature must be scanned and uploaded.
